I am a Randwick local, sharing a busy life with my husband and our 4 kids & numerous pets!

In my downtime I bliss out at home hand building, slipcasting or throwing with clay to create unique, functional pieces, inspired by my natural surroundings. 

Ubiquitous to our area, & one of my favourites, is the strange, gnarly, beauty of the Banksia. 

Conveying my affection for this Australian native, I draw directly onto the clay, then carve out my design. I wash colour into the fired piece before a final firing with a clear glaze.
