Alison Littlemore works at the Leppington Pottery in Centennial Park, Sydney. She studied ceramics at what was East Sydney Tech (now The National Art School) with Peter Rushforth, Bernard Sahm, Derek Smith, Joan Grounds, and Shigeo Shiga.
In 1973 her book “Nine Artist Potters” was published . A second printing came in 1978. Col Levy and Maureen Williams remain lifelong friends and mentors.
Scandinavian , English and Korean Architecture, Art and Form are the strongest Influences on her ceramics.
She works mainly in stoneware and porcelain and specialises in simplicity and purity of Form.
